It can be a daunting concept of leaving your home and all that is familiar to you to start a life in another country. Especially a country on the other side of the world!
We know first hand what this is like. I myself moved to lived in the United States of Amercia for two years, and that is where I met my Mexican husband, Israel. Israel and I then moved to New Zealand in 2001 and were married in Christchurch!
We got married at a beautiful little church, and then had our reception on a dream like boat, with a three hour cruise with all of our guests and a beautiful dinner! It was a dream come true.
It was difficult even for us moving back to New Zealand, and for Israel to find work, make friends and adjust to a different culture and country on the other side of the world!
But let me tell you... it was worth it! Now, 8 years later, we are both incredibly happy and settled! Israel has so many friends that we can hardly keep up with them all

and is very settled in a wonderful job for the last 7 years!
We know it's difficult, but once you've made the decision to move, our advice is to jump in with all of you! It's easy to make friends and get involved when you make yourself really available
