Who knows your culture? Once you arrive in a new country it can often be daunting living in a new culture and speaking a new language. We understand that it can be quite reassuring to be in touch with people from your home country or culture, or who simply speak your own language! Our emigrant support network will help you do this by;

Member Search Cultural Events Clubs & Churches

Search for members in our Forum Brouse our Members, Search Members, “Advanced Search”.  You can find people by country of origin, location, 1st language and Interests. Find and meet new friends.

Migrant Connects can help you find other migrant members by providing a Membership Search function. Included as part of the registration process, we ask new members to add Country of Origin, 1st Language, Current Location details.  You can search our members by going to the Forum, Login, Brouse our Members, Search Members, then Advanced Search.  Simply add the country and language specifics for your situation.

For example: a member born in Mexico, speaks Spanish, and now lives in Christchurch, New Zealand. This person’s search results may bring up a list of other members living in Christchurch who speak Spanish, primarily from Mexico. Amending the search criteria would allow you to find other members from Colombia, Peru, USA etc who also speak Spanish and so on.

Make yourselves at home here in New Zealand and enjoy connecting both with Kiwi’s born in New Zealand and other migrants such as yourself.   Click HERE to Search Members 

Once your search is complete, you can feel free to read the details in other member’s Profiles, and contact them via our internal Personal Message system (Forum, Login, User Control Panel, Your Profile) within our Forums.
