How do we bring our Pet to NZ?

Is your pet part of your family? Want to bring your pet when you make your move to New Zealand? The NZ government’s Bio Security site is very helpful, please click on this link and enter the search fields, for the type of pet you wish to bring to New Zealand, and from what country, then all requirements will appear as attachments to click on and download.

Accommodation

Looking for information on average costs for rental and house prices in New Zealand?  If so, please visit our Cost of Living section.   You may wish to arrange temporary accommodation prior to your arrival in New Zealand, or many choose to purchase property while still offshore.   The following websites will assist you in seeking your preferred method of accommodation:

School Aged Children?

Should you have school aged children moving with you to New Zealand, we recommend that you read our Education section to gain understanding and knowledge of the zoning systems for enroling children into specific schools and which areas and streets you will need to live in to enrol your children in your desired school.

New Zealand Maps

Smaps is an excellent website tool that allows you to type in any address in New Zealand, and displays a map with a zoom in and zoom out feature. Helpful for assessing locations you wish to travel too.

Yellow Maps also allows you to view any address in New Zealand, but gives you two forms of directions.  One has a visual map, the other has written directions.

Currency Conversation

The Currency Conversation Calculator, located on the right sidebar menu throughout the website, may be of assistance to you.  Utilise the calculator to work out what the NZ$ amount equates to in your current currency.
