Wanna Be A Kiwi Ltd is owned by Israel and Miriam Garcia

Israel Garcia is a migrant himself, who was born in Mexico and migrated to New Zealand in 2001 to marry the love of his life, Miriam! The first hand experience of being a migrant arriving and settling in New Zealand, Israel found that the one thing holding him back from fully settling, was making good friends. While this is always difficult when moving to another country, the Garcia’s decided to do something about it. That is why this website has the sections for “Migrant Connects” and “Events”, to assist migrants getting to know others in a similar situation as well as Kiwis in your local area.

Immigration Portal - Miriam & Israel

Miriam has been in the immigration industry in New Zealand for 10 years now in various roles, from Immigration Consultant, to Business Development Manager in an Immigration Law Advocacy company. Miriam has assisted migrants with immigration advice, securing job offers in New Zealand and assisting migrants with settlement services to make their move to New Zealand easier. Miriam has a thorough and in-depth knowledge and understanding all of the needs of migrants and the trusted expertise required, in order to make the process straight forward and successful!

While the Garcia’s have seen opportunities for migrants to receive information, in most cases this information is very expensive. That is why the Garcia’s have set out to make this website as professional, straightforward and easy to use as possible, while being a FREE service to migrants!
